Hammond Defeats Ravudi.

Hammond 1

WBA #14 welterweight Cameron Hammond (12-0, 6 KOs) stopped Jesse Ravudi (4-2-1, 1 KO) at the Sands Tavern, Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia on Saturday. A very entertaining fight while it lasted…the challenger had a big go right from the opening bell and won the first 2 rounds with his non-stop aggression. The champ then re adjusted to the challengers consistent pressure in the 3rd round and then landed a copy book straight right on the challengers chin at 1.30 into the 4th round and giving referee Derek Millham no option but to stop the fight as Ravudi stayed down for the full count.

Hammond retained the WBA Oceania title. The Aussie 147 pound star is promoted by future Hall of Famer Ricky Hatton.
