Interim WBA Oceania Super Middleweight champion Jayde Mitchell easily disposed of his Danish opponent Kim Poulsen last night at the Melbourne Pavilion 100 – 90 (x2) and 99 -91. The champion never looked in danger of losing and going the full 10 rounds maybe had its benefit for the much awaited matchup early next year between himself and full WBA Oceania Super Middleweight champ Zac Dunn. Poulsen was blunt in his observation of the fight afterwards saying his activity being out for 2 yrs with a broken jaw and going up 2 weight classes was probably the telling factor. Champ Mitchell thanked the challenger but felt he was in no danger throughout the fight and will be pressing for higher honors next year.
